Instruction is a vital part of a librarian’s job; developing instruction that will hold an audience’s attention, especially in a virtual format, can be challenging. Meet our presenters! ![]() Roz McConnaughy is the Assistant Director for Education & Outreach at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Library in Columbia, SC. Her interests include active learning, game-based learning, and the use of play in library instruction. ![]() Rachel Valentine currently serves as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Blinn College Library - Bryan, TX. She loves helping students to learn how to do research and enjoys the many hats one must wear as a community college librarian. Rachel loves cooking and any kind of cooking competition shows. ![]() Christine Andresen, MLS, MSIT, is an Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC. She is passionate about her work as a Research & Education Informationist at MUSC Libraries, where she supports the development of information literate health professionals prepared to integrate evidence into practice.
