1. A creative, innovative, service-oriented professional to serve as the Clinical Research Librarian of the Department of Learning, Research, and Clinical Information Services (LRCIS) at the Louis Calder Memorial Library on UM’s Medical Campus. Under the direction of the Department Head for LRCIS, the Clinical Research Librarian works as part of a team of librarians whose expertise and knowledge base support educational, clinical, research, and administrative activities at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (UMMSoM). The LRCIS Department provides clinical, data, and research services to UMMSoM students, faculty, staff, residents, and primary teaching hospital personnel. A collaborative, innovative, service-oriented professional to serve as Head of Research Information & Impact Services, a new role within UML. The Head of Research Information & Impact Services provides vision, direction, and coordination across the UM Libraries for the current and future development of research information services for a broad range of university constituents. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Digital Strategies, the Head is responsible for developing, advancing, and promoting services for faculty, researchers, and students to support them in their research journeys. These services include providing guidance on scholarly identity management, research visibility, research impact, scholarly output, and metrics literacy. The Head designs and delivers consultative services and other instructional programs to researchers related to scholar visibility and impact metrics.
