It's that time again! FHSLA will be recognizing the professional works of our members in our annual Professional Works post. If you have published or presented in the last year, we would love to hear about it! Please send all information to [email protected] ​by April 30th, 2022.

National Library Week has been an annual celebration since the 1950's. This year's theme is "Connect with your library". Libraries connect our communities to needed resources and provide a place for people to connect to each other. This year in celebration of National Library Week visit your local library- in person or online- to see what is new and happening in your community!

The Florida Health Sciences Library Association is currently accepting nominations for Librarian of the Year and Honorary Members. Please consider nominating fellow colleagues for these awards!


Librarian of the Year recognizes an individual who has shown dedication and made significant contributions to his or her library.


Honorary Member is dedicated to FHSLA members who are retiring or have retired since the last annual meeting.

Hello FHSLA members! Our annual meeting is fast approaching! We are looking for poster submissions for our poster session that will take place on Thursday March 24th as the first item on the agenda. Start time will depend on the amount of poster submissions we receive. 

This is your opportunity to show off your work, earn AHIP points and provide learning opportunities for fellow members!

We are also looking for submissions for our What's New In Your Library session that will be on Friday March 25th at 9am. This is just a brief 3-5 minute 3 slide presentation to show us something new you've been doing, new staff, etc.
