October Fall Meeting
The October mid-year planning is in full swing! You should have received an invitation to register for the October 17th virtual meeting. This half day meeting, focusing on the power of our professional organization will focus on networking, collaboration and engagement. The meeting is free to register and will include a 1 hour CE. If you would like to present on Library updates, be sure to fill out the form to sign up!

Spring Annual Meeting

The Spring annual meeting planning is in progress. The plan is to have the meeting held in Tampa. We are currently working with USF to find a venue for the meeting. If you have a recommendation for a venue in Tampa, please email Angie Novak

Coffee Talk
A big thank you to the Membership Committee for being committed to scheduling new and interesting events for members. In July, they hosted FHSLA's first Virtual Coffee Talk event. In this session, members joined together virtually to discuss their favorite tech tools. You can find the list of favorite tech tools on Padlet.

Strategic Planning

Our Strategic Planning is working hard on this year's initiative to create a master manual document that details executive board position descriptions and tasks, committee tasks and planning for annual meetings. Led by our past president Jorge Perez, the members who volunteered for this committee are making progress to gather information and create a working document that can be referred to during future terms.

Bylaws
The bylaws committee, let by Secretary Allison Howard is also making a ton of progress to update FHSLA's bylaws document. We think you'll really like the new look and feel of the document as well as the updates/additions we're making to language. It will be easier to follow and more complete once the project is finished.

Membership Directory

Our website has recently been updated with a membership directory! Members should have received a registration email with instructions to register for the website to gain access to the directory. Thank you to Pammy Herring and Janet Chan for working together to get this done!
